Today at the AGM of the Association the new branding was revealed, along with a membership pack and parking disk service.  See more over at the website.

Speakers on the day included Humza Yousaf, highlighting the plans for enhancing EV rollout in Scotland, then hosting a very interesting Q&A session.

Terry Mohammed of BMM Energy spoke about the growth and development of smart charging and the need for more intelligent infrastructure, while I presented some of the findings from my recent trip to the the Nordic EV Summit in Oslo.

Laura McCaig of Transport Scotland provided a detailed update on the performance and usage of the ChargePlace Scotland network, including the growth expected in the coming years.  The network has now supplied over 9M kWh of energy to EV drivers.  Also mentioned was the rollout of the whitelist to chargers to help alleviate communication problems.

Andrew Mouat of Glasgow City Council offered some insight into the developments in the city, as well as an update on the Riverside charger vandalism.

As a Scotland wide organisation, we were able to include members from the whole breadth of Scotland who would otherwise not be able to attend, via a live stream video from the Teacher Building in the centre of Glasgow.

Most attendees traveled by EV today, mainly cars, some trains and at least one bike.  Local charge infrastructure was well tested!
